Hey, everyone!

Here's the deal. Husky In Denial needs some merch, so I'm looking for some stellar artists to create unique artwork for band t-shirts. Here's how it works.

There are two categories: Digital and Screen Print. One winner will be selected from each.

DIGITAL:
Submissions should be in full color and be available in high-rez (3000px largest side, 300dpi). You must submit a lower-quality version to be judged. Your image will be on a black background.

SCREEN PRINT:
Submissions may have two colors ONLY, and be available in high-rez (3000px largest side, 300dpi). You must submit a lower-quality version to be judged. Your image will be on a dark background appropriate for your colors you choose.

Submissions must deal with one or more of the following themes:
Dystopian America
End times/Apocalypse
Apathy
Obliviousness
Destruction
Transcendence
Rock music
Urban themes (dealing with cityscapes)
Propaganda

All submissions must clearly read Husky In Denial, with "Husky" in one color and "In Denial" in another color, and must feature my character, with references here:

My character does not have to be the main focus of the picture, but must be present somewhere in the artwork.

The design must blend into the shirt without harsh borders. The entire design should fit into the borders of your document without running off the top and side edges of your document, INCLUDING ANY BACKGROUND.

I'm looking for submissions that are iconic, feature distinctive art styles, and show a solid vision and message.

THE PROCESS:

1. All submissions must be uploaded online. If they are uploaded to IB, FA, dA, or any other art gallery, they must link to this journal.
2. You must post a link to that submission as a comment to this journal.
3. You may submit as many submissions to either category as you like.
4. Submissions must be received by APRIL 1, 2012.
5. When all submissions are received, voting will begin. The first poll will go to people who bought the album, then there will be open polling a week later featured in a journal. Advertise to your friends and have them vote, too!
6. The winner for each category will be chosen based on the number of votes they receive and on my own personal tastes. I have the final say. Runner ups may be contacted later for future shirt releases.
7. The winner for each contest will be contacted, and the winners will be announced publicly. Winners must e-mail their high-resolution copy as either PSD or PNG.
8. The winner's design will be featured on t-shirts distributed online and at live shows and conventions. Their signature and website will be available in fine print on the shirts themselves.
9. Winners will be paid 8% of their t-shirt sales up to a negotiated price.
